林白

生于廣西北流，現(xiàn)居北京。目前為自由撰稿人。上世紀(jì)八十年代初開(kāi)始寫(xiě)作，先詩(shī)歌，后小說(shuō)。著有長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō)《一個(gè)人的戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)》、《說(shuō)吧，房間》《萬(wàn)物花開(kāi)》《婦女閑聊錄》、《北去來(lái)辭》等多部，另有中短篇小說(shuō)《回廊之椅》《西北偏北之二三》及詩(shī)歌散文。獲華語(yǔ)文學(xué)傳媒大獎(jiǎng)年度小說(shuō)家獎(jiǎng)、老舍文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō)獎(jiǎng)、人民文學(xué)長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō)雙年獎(jiǎng)、新浪中國(guó)好書(shū)榜年度十大好書(shū)等榮譽(yù)，曾獲首屆及第三屆中國(guó)女性文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。第九屆茅盾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)提名獎(jiǎng)。2017年出版詩(shī)集《過(guò)程》。

Lin Bai, born in Beiliu, Guangxi Province, nowlives in Beijing as a freelance writer.She started writing in the early 1980s. She was a poet before she began to write novels. She authored a number of novels, including A War of One's Own, Speak, My Room, Watching the Empty Years Pass By, The Records of Women's Gossip and Going North, as well as several novellas, including Chair in the Corridor and A Few Things about North by Northwest and a few poems and essays. She was named the Novelist of the Year at the Chinese Literature Media Award and won the Lao She Literary Award for Novels, the People’s Literary Biennale Award for Novels, etc. Her book is one of the Top 10 Bookson Sina’s List of Outstanding Chinese Books. She won the 1st and the 3rd Chinese Women’s Literature Award and was nominated for the 9th Mao Dun Literature Prize. In 2017, a collection of her poems, Process, was published.
